Road Runner Insurance Program for Businesses in Naples, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers Florida

               The innovation has been a priority on the business plan that E & S Insurance has been implemented during the last two years on South West Florida.  In 2010, the independent insurance agency developed a pilot project that surveyed around three hundred of the small businesses in Collier and Lee Counties.  The survey found that 85% of the business owners or the managers knew very well the vendors that provided them with the basic supplies such as raw materials, products and services. However, only 15% of them had known personally or remembered the name of their insurance agents.  In addition, just 10% of the owners knew the limits and coverage they had on their Business Insurances. As a result, 90% did not know for sure what kind of protection they had in case of unpredictable and catastrophic disasters such as fire, hurricanes, floods and other damages to the property. Sometimes, they never asked for themselves what could happen to them and their families if they could not open the business and did not receive any revenue.

               Based on the above-mentioned findings, E & S Insurance designed a new project called ROAD RUNNER PROGRAM FOR BUSINESS. The main goal is to visit and contact face to face four hundred business owners during 2011 in Collier and Lee Counties. The Road Runner Agent will offer them and exclusive and personalized service. He will review and evaluate the coverage on their business policies and will propose them a new business insurance package that will meet their needs and budgets. As a part of this review, the agent will establish if the owner is over or under insured; also, he will review the premiums they have been paying and will implement a proposal that will save some money to the business owner.  Finally, he will explain them how to avoid unnecessary claims, and will assist them with potential claims in the future.  As a result, the business owner will have an agent who will be always on the road and ready to assist them.
